Privacy Policy
How LinkLibrary handles your information, described as the product works today.
Information you provide
Account details: name, username, e-mail address, password (stored hashed), and optionally a bio and profile photo.
Content: the links you save, plus any custom titles, descriptions, tags, categories, notes and collections you create, and the e-mail addresses you invite.
Information processed automatically
When you save a link, our servers fetch the page to read publicly available metadata (such as title, description and image) and check the destination with threat-intelligence providers.
We keep session and security records needed to run the service, such as active sessions and an audit log of security-relevant actions.
Optional AI processing
If AI enrichment is enabled, publicly available information from saved pages (for example the title, description and an excerpt of the text) may be sent to a third-party AI provider to suggest summaries, categories and tags.
Your private notes, custom edits, invitations and account details are never sent to an AI provider.
Visibility and sharing
Links are private by default. A link becomes visible to others only if you publish it or invite specific people. Notes are never shown to anyone else.
Your profile is shown publicly only if you enable the public profile setting.
Your choices
You can edit or delete links and collections, revoke sharing, sign out other sessions, change your e-mail and password, and delete your account from Settings.
Cookies
The website uses cookies required for signing in and protecting forms (a session cookie and a CSRF-protection cookie), and remembers your language choice. Your theme and layout preferences may be stored in your browser.
